Positive Symptoms
Delusions
Delusions mean that the patient begins to talk nonsense He says let me go home. Katrina Kaif is waiting for me there. One of my patients used to say that I am Imam Mahdi. One patient used to say that Zardari’s daughter wanted to marry me. Similarly, there is a delusion of paranoia in which the patient suspects others. One thing that is common to all delusions is that the patient makes unrealistic statements that have nothing to do with reality.
Hallucinations
- Visual Hallucination are types in which what the patient sees is not visible to other people.
- Auditory Hallucination are types in which the patient hears sounds that other people do not hear.
- Tactile Hallucinations are the types in which the patient usually feels that his or her body parts are damaged.
- Olfactory Hallucination it usually smells bad to the patient which is not really the case. If you ask a normal person or check yourself, he will not smell it but the patient will say again and again that I smell bad.
Disorganized Thinking
This is a symptom in which the patient’s thinking is disturbed, that is, sometimes the speed of thinking accelerates and he keeps on speaking until he can’t put anything else. And his words also become irrational.
Catatonic
In this symptom the patient keeps repeating such a movement or sometimes it happens that the patient is lying in a single movement as if I know a patient who is exposed to anything in this symptom. He puts it in his mouth and there is a patient who sits for many hours.
